YUUMMMMYYYY!!!

A Big Thank YOU to all of MY followers!

Thank you everyone who have made this awesome journey to flow my blog and the daily log of my challenge.  I call it the Vegan-Vagan Challenge.  I have decided to make a change in my life and do something different. Why continue to do what is normal?  I have been devouring meat for almost 50 years and now I feel a change has to be made!  Life has so many avenues and trips we can take, upload and share.  So why continue to live a patterned life.  I figure, let us be spontaneous and inspired!  God give us so many opportunities to make changes, I feel it is time to take Him up on it.  So this particular change I’ve made has made me happy and gives me the feeling of accomplishment and achievement.  Now I want to share it with YOU!  The world …and why not?

A little bit about me.  I consider myself a strange lil creature.  I think outside the box maybe 60% of my brain power.  The other 40% stays within the box. This 40% maybe be small in number but very powerful and persuasive. (Can you tell I went to see “LUCY” this wknd) LOL  🙂  Now I want to exercise my 60% brain power and become more brilliant than I’ve ever been!  I believe this Vegan-Vagan challenge is a start.  The name Vegan-Vagan is a name that I’ve made up… just to fit ‘me’.  I am not a 100% vegan and the word “Vagan” is a compile of having the freedom of choosing to eat the best meat ever, SEAFOOD.  I am a SEAFOOD foodie!  So the word Vagan lets me be free to love all of the seafood I can eat!  Which is my second love.

My first love is Cake!  A GOOD CAKE!  You can follow me on FB @ https://www.facebook.com/SurLaBundt?ref_type=bookmark

See all of the bouncing bundt cakes I love to bake!

My breakfast is very filling so it really helps me not to panic eating thorough the day.

20th day… And So It Goes!

It is now the 20th day and someone asked me, “how do you feel? Like REALLY, how do you really feel?”  I feel great!  I am loving it and I’m glad I took on the challenge.  Still there was skepticism and unbelief, they then said, “You’re not saying that just to be faking it or to make us think so, are you really?”  Oh my!  I’m like George Washington, “I can’t tell a lie… dude!”  Which now after researching if George really coined this phrase, he didn’t say the phrase after all.  It was Mr. Parson Weems who coined the phrase and presumably depicted that George Washington said it.  WHICH MAKE’S IT ALL  A LIE NOW!  OMG!!  Read people, READ!  Don’t take wooden nickels… read up on everything!  Toss lies out with your own research!

According to WiKiAnswers:  Who Said I Cannot Tell A Lie?

“It was George Washington, but he didn’t really say it. A book was written about him a 100 years after his death and one of the stories in the book relates that when he was asked who chopped down the cherry tree he said ” I can not tell a lie. I did” This was a made up story that has come down to us as fact.”

Let me get back focused… here is my meal plan for 7/25/14.  Please enjoy!  I did.  🙂
