Day 29 – “Get On Up!” #1 Movie

SUNDAY! Movie Day1

“Get On Up!”.  the movie was AWESOME!  I loved every minute of it!!  We had lunch & a movie.  Me & My hubby both order the Coconut Shrimp w/ Sweet Potato Fries and Jamaican Cole Slaw!

I was so proud of myself!  for dinner I made a green salad with toasted bagel!  My husband loved the meal.  He said it was the best ever!!  WE ARE GOING STRONG!  Vegan Vagan All The way

28 Days Still on the Vegan-Vagan trail

Saturday was a very busy day.  I volunteered at the local church helping to distribute food to the community.  So I had no time for breakfast.

For Lunch, I made this delicious Crab (imitation crab) sandwich.  I was soo good.  Fried up some Sweet potato fries and ate like a champ.

For Dinner, I didn’t eat too much.  Simple and easy dinner.

My Saturday wasn’t as spectacular and the previous week!

 

What’s For Dinner? Day 27

Day 27-  It tough!  I feel like the meat monster is on my back.  My daily bread was normal.  Oatmeal in the morning, Apple and grapes for snack. Lunch was bits and pieces from the week, sauté shrimp w/spinach, and the other half of the baked potato.  THE USUAL.  I kept juggling thoughts back and forth on but WHAT’S FOR DINNER?

MEAT?  MEAT?  MEAT.

I decided to cook Dirty Rice with Ground Turkey.  Yes, ground turkey!  If I was going to fall off the wagon, at least keep it healthy!  And was it delicious.  I loved it.  I stirred up some veggies and dinner was great!

Day 26 ~ I made it!!

I have gone thru the month of July w/out eating the P.B.C. – pork, beef & chicken!  HAHA!! I knew I could do it.  I am still committed though, because I want to accomplish 30 days.  So my 3oth day will actually be AUG. 6 because I started this journey on JULY  7.

I guess will cut down on logging every meal of the day.  I will just highlight the HIGHLIGHTS!

Like my dinner last night!  I made the best shrimp and spinach burger on this side of the Mason Dixon line!
